Single Nucleotide Polymorphism microarrays (movie)

Previous posted information details how we put patient alleles into a microarray format to do SNP genotyping via our Variation Identification Platform. One of the many advantages of that method is that many patient samples and many clinically relevant single nucleotide polymorphisms can be tested on a single microarray. However, in some applications it could make more sense to put the pre-synthesized oligos on the microarray and label and hybridize patient DNA to a microarray. To see a list of publications where our products such as surface chemistry, spotting technology and hybridization tools have been used in such applications, click here. The following movie shows fundamentally how this application works.
